Logan Smith is Senior Managing Director and Head of European Industrial & Logistics at Hines since April 2020. Previously, he oversaw the logistics and industrial business with BNP Paribas Real Estate. He has over 20 years’ experience in logistics real estate investing in Europe and North America. Prior to BNP Paribas, Mr. Smith served as Head of Acquisitions and Dispositions for Prologis in Europe where he and his team sourced and executed €2.2bn of transactions. In other roles, he has served as Chief Investment Officer of the TPG Capital owned entity P3 Logistic Parks in Prague, as well as Head of Acquisitions for an affiliate of Realterm Global, based in the United States. He began his career in real estate as an Associate in the Management Development Program of Security Capital Industrial Trust in Europe, which subsequently became Prologis.
