Johanna is a Partner and the National Leader of KPMG in Canada’s Mergers and Acquisitions Tax practice. She is based in Toronto and has more than 20 years of experience serving private equity, pension funds, and strategic clients to plan and execute acquisitions, reorganizations and divestitures. In addition, Johanna has extensive experience working on tax due diligence engagements, the design and structuring of investment funds, compensation plans, and the development of tax-efficient strategies. 

Johanna is a member of several organizations including, the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA), Canadian Women in Private Equity, and the Canadian Tax Foundation.

Johanna holds a BEc degree in Accounting from Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia).
