Dayna Gilbert leads the real estate development team at Forum, executing on complex development initiatives that create value through acquisition, design, entitlement, and construction of a variety of asset classes.

Prior to joining Forum, Dayna was the Director of Development at Canadian Apartment Properties REIT (CAPREIT), Canada, Ireland and the Netherlands largest residential rental asset manager. Dayna led and managed all new development, along with building the department, where she established a short and long-term pipeline for future asset growth on existing land in all portfolios.

Prior to CAPREIT, Dayna was the Director of Development at Fieldgate Urban, a new arm of the real estate developer, focused on mid to high rise development. In this role, she was involved in the acquisitions and development of various mixed use residential projects.

Dayna holds an undergraduate degree from the School of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Waterloo and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph.
